SOUTH AFRICAN BEACHES - HIGHLIGHTS |
||
South Africa is world famous for its stunning beaches. On both the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean coastlines, Mother Nature has blessed the southern point of Africa with naturally beautiful shores. The warm waters of the Indian ocean lap the east coast of the country - places like Durban, Umhlanga and Ballito are situated on this side. Many of the world's Blue Flag beaches can be found on the east coast of South Africa and some of these these include Ramsgate, Uvongo Beach, Durban and Addington. The chilly waters of the Atlantic create a much different vibe, and it is on the west coast of South Africa that the trendiest beaches are situated. Most of the bikini beaches can be found along the Atlantic Seaboard of Cape Town, and these include Clifton, Camps Bay, Sandy Bay and Bakoven. Other wonderful beaches of the Cape include Kommetjie and Noordhoek. Perfect for sultry summer holidays! By no means exhaustive, these highlights can help you plan your special trip to the southern tip of Africa. |
